BIOGRAPHY

His Calling

The journey began in Jackson, Mississippi where Earl Frederick Miller, Sr was born on March 17, 1941.  His parents, Earl Lee Miller and Melvin Gamble Miller, were faithful, God-fearing Christians who believed in the power of prayer. Dr. Miller has often told the story of how he almost died as a baby, but through his mother’s prayer he was healed and she dedicated him to the Lord to use for ministry.  But it wasn’t until 1966 that he began to experience a conscious inner calling to the Gospel Ministry.  After trying very hard for three years to deny his calling, in June 1969, he surrendered to the will of God and accepted his call to Preach the Gospel! From there, God has since used him around the world to bring souls to Christ.

I'd Rather See A Sermon

Edgar A. Guest

I'd rather see a sermon
than hear one any day;
I'd rather one should walk with me
than merely tell the way.
The eye's a better pupil
and more willing than the ear,
Fine counsel is confusing,
but example's always clear;
And the best of all preachers
are the men who live their creeds,
For to see good put in action
is what everybody needs.
I soon can learn to do it
if you'll let me see it done;
I can watch your hands in action,
but your tongue too fast may run.
And the lecture you deliver
may be very wise and true,
But I'd rather get my lessons
by observing what you do;
For I might misunderstand you
and the high advice you give,
But there's no misunderstanding
how you act and how you live.

"Look at your neighbor if you can stand to look at 'em"

" Sometimes we get spiritual amnesia"

"...deep down in your knower"

"You might have a case of forgettability"

"I see things in my mind's eye"
